1. Classic Beef Stroganoff

This is a classic beef stroganoff that will warm your stomach and delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Stew meat – cut into cubes
  • 2-3 cloves garlic – minced
  • 2 onions – diced or minced
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 12 oz. egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sherry – optional
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley – chopped

Directions

  • Season your stew meat with salt and pepper to taste. Turn your pressure cooker to the highest sauté setting. Add your olive oil and brown the meat evenly on both sides, which will take about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook your garlic and onion until tender, or about 3-4 minutes. Whisk in your flour until the mixture is lightly browned, which will take about 1 minute. If you wish, deglaze the pressure cooker with your sherry and scrape up the browned bits.
  • Turn your pressure cooker to a manual setting with high pressure. Add in your beef, beef broth, and Worcester sauce. Then cook for 12 minutes before using the quick-release pressure option.
  • Add in your egg noodles. Set your pressure cooker again to manual high pressure, and cook for 5 minutes before using the quick-release option.
  • Add in sour cream, season with more salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
