Once the machine connect to power, however, you’re able to view the buttons cleary via the blue backlight. It’s a nice touch, it doesn’t require straining to read anything on dim display, and everything feel responsive from the get-go.
To set the time, you simply push the Set Time button and within seconds, the hour digits will begin blinking. That lets you know that it’s waiting for your input. Turn the numbers until they match your local time. Because setting whether it’s PM or AM is important; you’ll mess up the scheduled brew if you don’t select the right one here.
Re-adjusting The Clock Time
Now that the hour has been adjusted, it’ll automatically switch over to minutes by itself and start blinking. No additional button need to be pressed. It’s intuitive, not clunky at all.
Next, adjust the minute digits. If you want things to be accurate, you want to make sure the minutes is correct. Once the minutes are set, take a step back. Wait a moment while it blinks on the screen, then wait a bit longer. The system need time to adjust. Take your time because otherwise you risk losing everything you’ve just done.
After the blinking stops, the screen lock in the new time. It’s now set and ready to go. And that comforting little lock-in also confirms that there is no need to go through motions again. Nothing went wrong. No questions asked.
Fast-forward several months. Maybe it’s time to change your clock because daylight savings just kicked in, or maybe you realize something was off. Either way, the process are identical. Hit the Set Time button one more time. Then follow the exact same steps from earlier. The interface doesn’t change, so repetitive adjustment are painless.
As soon as you turn on the hour, it start blinking right away (just like before). You move the numbers around with equal ease. You don’t have any kind of learning curve when changing times later.
After you’ve set the hours correctly, the minutes start blinking next. Adjusting the last couple of number seems so familiar, so intuitive. Then you leave them alone long enough for the device to save the new time once more. Waiting those few seconds feel naturaly now. Everything locks into place after a short while.
It turns out that setting your clock couldn’t of been simpler. Each time you adjust it, it only take under a minute.
