Problem 1 – E3 Error Code Appearance
The LED screen of the GoWISE pressure cooker sometimes shows an error code of E3 which doesn’t let you complete pressure-cooking your meal. It is mainly caused due to overheating. The heat in your pot starts to over-accumulate when the water in it is too less and the steam is already coming out for no reason. This is the most stubborn problem. To fix this issue, do this:
- Unplug the main unit immediately.
- Let the cooker cool down for a while.
- When the unit is cooled down to a certain point, put back the plug.
- Set your cooker again on cooking, and it will work eventually fine this time.
- Always try to fill your pot up to great water content so it doesn’t get overheated.
This is how you prevent the E3 error code from appearing every now and then.
Problem 2 – Pressure Cooker Isn’t Reaching a Good Pressure Build-Up
When the pressure cooker doesn’t reach a certain pressure build-up, then you might suspect something going wrong.
These are some of the expected causes of insufficient pressure build-up with their solutions:
- You haven’t covered your pressure cooker with a lid properly. Make sure to tighten the lid.
- The valves aren’t placed and handled correctly. Try to reinstall them back properly.
- Set the poorly positioned gasket in the right position if it has misplaced.
- Replace the damaged gasket if it has worn out or damaged. Or clean it if you have left it dirty.
- Tighten the handles if they are not tightly held.
- Make sure to add even excess quantity of water for maximum pressure build-up.
- If you have overcrowded your pressure cooker with lots of food, then try to remove of the ingredients so there is enough space for the pressure build up.
- Remember to never add frozen ingredients directly in the pressure cooker.
- Position the lid in a right spot as per the user manual.
Problem 3 – Pressure Cooker Releasing Too Much Steam
When the pressure cooker is overheated with the temperature too high, it starts spewing excess steam which makes it difficult for the food to be evenly cooked. You might need to re-adjust the pressure valves or float valves for the required steam to stay in a pot.
Problem 4 – Pressure Cooker Spraying Food Or Foam
The pressure cooker annoyingly starts spewing off food or foam when the thickeners like flour or cornstarch are added into excess quantity directly. Also, make sure you don’t overfill your GoWISE pressure cooker so the ingredients stop spewing out.
Problem 5 – The Lid Is Jammed
Another problem your GoWISE pressure cooker has a jammed lid that won’t come off at all. Make sure you turn off the pressure cooker and pour hot water onto lid so it comes off.
We hope that the mentioned solutions of GoWISE pressure cooker problems help you.
