Refreshing Cucumber Lemonade Recipe

It’s a plain ol’ recipe for cucumber lemonade; a quick little drink that isn’t unhealthy and will freshen you up.

Ingredients

Scale

Since it’s just a drink, and a quick one at that, you don’t need many ingredients for this little recipe. Here’s all that you’ll want by your side for it:

  • 34 Cucumbers, Sliced
  • 12 Tablespoons of Water
  • 56 Tablespoons of Sugar
  • 1/3 Cups of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup of Mint Leaves

Instructions

Everything on the ingredients list was pretty common stuff that’s easy to gather with just one raid of your fridge. So if you have it all by your side already, these are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Slice Some Cucumbers: Get about 3-4 cucumbers (or however many more for the amount of lemonade glasses you plan to make). Now put them on a cutting board and slice each one up sideways. You’ll want lots of tiny, thin circles so that they’re easy enough for any blender to completely mash up. Speaking of which, that brings us to the next step.

  2. Blend the Slices: The heading pretty much speaks for itself when it comes to this step. All you need to do is to add the slices of cucumbers you cut up in the last step and 1-2 tablespoons of water to a blender. Then just let the appliance do its thing until both ingredients are perfectly mixed together.
    blend

  3. Add Other Ingredients and Mix: Keep the cucumber juice you made in the last step inside of the blender for now. Instead of taking it out, you’re going to need to add more stuff to it for now. This includes 5-6 tablespoons of sugar for starters, so dump that in there. Once you’ve done that, add ⅓ cups of lemon juice as well as 1 cup of mint leaves for extra taste and cooling.
    add rest of ingredients
    • Save
  4. Blend and Serve: After all of those ingredients are inside the blender with the cucumber juice, let it run one more time. When everything is fully mixed together, you can take it all out and pour it into a jug/glass (depending on how much you made). Nothing left to do after that other than to enjoy the delicious drink you just made for yourself!

Notes

  • You’re also going to be needing a blender for one of the most important steps, so keep that in mind. Other than that, these ingredients on their own are enough to help you beat the summer heat if you know how to use them, and that’s exactly what we’re going to cover next!
  • But, before I do that, I want to mention that these are only enough for one glass, or two at most depending on how you like your servings. Either way, if multiple people plan to drink it, I’d recommend doubling, tripling, or adjusting the amount of ingredients whatever way you like to accommodate for them.
