The first thing you check is the wiring. A loose connection is usualy the culprit when there is a loss of power. Look at all your wire connectors inside unit, and if they are loose, tighten them down.

Testing and Replacing Fuses
Power is a must for brewing coffee and this check will confirm that there is good paths for basic power movement. Before going further, you want to make sure that the electricity flow correctly.
The machine needs power to brew coffee, so you verify the electrical paths before looking deeper.
The next possibility is a heating circuit issue. There is two specific fuses in this area that will prevent the system from functioning if damaged. You’ll find them close to the heating element assembly. These are small items but very important to getting things working. When one of these fuse goes bad, it shuts everything down.
You use a multimeter to test the continuity of each fuse.

A multimeter allows you to see if current flow through a component. To do so, you simply place the probes on each terminal of the fuse. If it’s working correctly, you’ll hear a beep. No sound? Then the fuse is busted. It’s simple and usually instant.
The meter screen will even read out as well. An OL reading means there’s an open loop or a break somewhere in the circuit. If one does that but not the other, it’s probably because one fuse is blown.
One fuse may display “OL” for an open loop while the other beeps normally.
To fix it, you just remove the bad fuse and slip in a new identical rated one. Oftentimes that’s all it takes to get the machine going again.
The machine won’t turn on because the fuses is blown. No heat, no operation of any kind. Replace fuses and it works like normal. Fuses are cheap to buy, and this costs very little in repairs.
Most problems here are traced to connections, so check those too. Keep extra fuses around. Having a multimeter saves time and expense. Tests quickly, but you’ll need a multimeter.
Remove screws from back panel to see inside. Takes just minutes. Worth it when the machine finally works. Tighten loose wiring so it doesn’t fail again. Good continuity along the heating element are necessary.
The fuses will blow out if there is a surge. This protects the circuit, but then you need to replace them. You can also fix it yourself. Repairing the unit extends its life better than discarding it. The repair was solid and got the machine running smoothly again. You should of checked the wiring first.
