Ingredients

Scale

There’s only a handful of ingredients you’re going to need for this recipe, and I’m sure you probably have most of them already. But, just to be doubly sure, make sure you’ve got all these things by your side before starting:

  • 3 Zucchini
  • 2 Tablespoons of Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon of Rosemary
  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

Instructions

Here’s what you need to do to make something big and delicious out of these small ingredients:

  1. Cut the Zucchini: Get 3 Zucchini and cut the tip off one of them. After doing that, slice it in half from top to bottom. Repeat this process with the other two as well, and you’ll be done with this easy first step! Now just set the cut zucchini aside on parchment paper over a baking dish, so that it’s ready for the next steps.

  2. Combine Ingredients: Put all the other ingredients you need for this recipe inside a bowl to ix them up together. This includes 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of rosemary, and 4 tablespoons of olive oil, all of which need to be combined together. Make sure that you mix them well.

  3. Top Zucchini With Mixture: Cover the top of the zucchini slices with some olive oil by brushing it across. Then, sprinkle the mixture you made in the last step with the breadcrumbs and other ingredients on top of those same slices. Once you do that, they’ll be ready to go in the oven.

  4. Start Baking: Get the oven ready and put the zucchini slices inside. Then, bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-12 minutes. In some cases, it might take longer than this though. For that, you can just keep an eye out on the zucchini and notice whether or not the breadcrumbs are starting to change in color and going crispy.

It’s a really nice snack for those watching their intake, and most people will enjoy it as something to munch on when they’re craving a snack.
