Ingredients
There isn’t a lot you need for this recipe, and none of this is too difficult to find. So, gather all these ingredients and you’ll be all set cooking:
- 250 grams of Liver
- 2 tablespoons of Cooking Oil
- 1 teaspoon of Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Steak Seasoning
- 5 teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder
That’s all there is to this recipe! Well, you’re going to need a pan too, since it is called pan fry liver, but that’s not an ingredient is it?
Instructions
You have the things you need, and ideas for what extra things you can add. Once you have all that, start making the recipe by following these easy steps I’ve detailed in the list below:
- Cut The Liver: To start cooking the liver, you’re going to want it cut in presentable pieces first. So, get a cutting board and the 250 grams of liver for this recipe, and start chopping away. Make sure that you do small square cubes instead of longer pieces. That way, they’ll be easier to eat, and easier to cook.
- Cook The Meat: Get 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and dump it in a deep pan. Wait for it to heat up a little and then throw the pieces of liver you just cut up inside! Keep moving these around with a spatula or wooden spoon, and cook them until they change colour. They’ll go from their usual brown self to a much whiter shade, so you’ll know exactly when it’s done.
- Add Spices On Top: Once you have the chicken, you can start adding spices on top! This includes pretty much everything on the ingredient list from earlier, and anything extra you want to add for flavour. So, start with 1 teaspoon of salt and cumin seeds, after which you can add 1 teaspoon of steak seasoning and 1.5 teaspoons of red chilli powder. After you have those inside, you can add extras, or leave it as it is!
- Mix and Cook: Don’t leave the spices just sitting on top! Make sure to mix them all as well as you can, and then let the meat cook for 5-7 minutes at least. Stir it all from time to time during this, and then it’ll all be done! You can serve the delicious meal however you want! You can choose one of the extra ingredients I listed earlier, or just use whatever sauces or spices you prefer the mos. Whatever you decide, you’re sure to love the meal you’ve made for yourself!
Notes
- So, get what’s on that small list and you can start cooking! As for any substitutes, there isn’t anything to replace in the recipe. But, you can add plenty of things!
- For example, you can add some lemon on top to give it a nice, zesty flavour. There’s also the option of adding more spices to give it a more unique flavour, or serving it with a bunch of different sauces that’ll compliment the dish!
- For spices, some good options are paprika, mustard powder, oregano, and more. As for the sauces, you could try cooking it with a bit of vinegar, or serve it with some mustard sprinkled on top. There are plenty of options, and you can experiment with it in different ways.
But, you can figure that out yourself now that I’ve given some recommendations, since you can try those are base things off on your preferences! For now, let’s start cooking ourselves a delicious meal!
