Infuser Stuck in Your DeLonghi? Here’s How to Free It

The DeLonghi has a tendency for having a stubborn infuser. Many user run into this problem, and they often make mistake when shutting down machine. Many just turn off main switch by the wall.

Give the system a few minutes to wake up. It will take a few moments for all of its pumps and sensors to start so that internal logic board is activated and ready for commands. Let it go through whole start-up sequence. Resist your urge to speed things along here.

At this point you should be able to hear a slight sound of either whirring or clicking mechanically. That means motor has engaged properly. Then after pressing button to power it down, just let it sit for several seconds. Allow all electronics to come back to rest. Don’t mess with it until they have settled completey.

Now, reach in there, take it by the unit and pull it out (gently). If you did everything correctly, it’ll come right out with no resistance. As you do that, you’ll notice red latches release easily. There’s no forcing and no twisting.
