Cook The Perfect Beef Steak Recipe At Home With This Recipe

perfect beef steak recipe

Beef steak can be one of the perfect meals that leaves you with a fulfiling taste, if it’s cooked with perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

The best steaks are the one that are the simplest. A lot of people, including myself, aren’t big fans of all that fancy mumbo jumbo the really expensive restaurants try to feed you. Instead, a steak well cooked with a few of the right seasonings and sides will do just fine. That’s why all you need, is…

  • 2 Pieces of Steak
  • Thread
  • Salt, to Taste
  • Black Pepper, to Taste
  • 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Butter
  • 57 Garlic Cloves

Don’t worry, I’m not going to make you eat a thread of string or something. That’s just in the ingredients list because it’ll help make a certain step much easier for you down the line. As for the rest, these simple ingredients are pretty much everything you need to make a delicious steak at home! Using them the right way though, is the toughest part.

Instructions

Steaks aren’t easy business, especially if it’s your first time making them. Whether you like yours rare or well-done, it’s hard to get them the exact way you want them. But, follow the steps I’ve listed here and you’ll be dandy!

  1. Tie Steaks: The first thing you need to do for this recipe is to get a thread/string and use it to tie 2 pieces of steak horizontally. You’ll want to drag it right across the middle (you’ll know why this is important later). After the string is tied and secured, you can move on to the next step.tie steaks
  2. Add Seasoning: Once the steaks are tied, you can move on with the rest of the recipe as normal. If you’ve made steak before, you know that means seasoning without me having to tell you. In this case, that’s just salt and black pepper, both in any amount according to your preferences. Make sure that you rub it in well so that the meat can marinate.sprinkle salt
  3. Cook and Butter Steaks: Once they’re marinated and the flavor has settled in, you can get a deep pan and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil to it. Heat this up on medium-high heat and add one piece of steak in. Cook both sides of this steak nicely for at least 5-6 minutes. After one of the pieces is done cooking, you can repeat this whole process for the other piece. Place 2 tablespoons of butter on top of both steak pieces while they’re hot after doing this.cook steaks
  4. Add Garlic and Cook: Add garlic to the pan after the butter starts to melt a little. 5-7 cloves of garlic should do the trick. Once the garlic is inside, you can remove the string from the steak. The reason for this string was to help the steak keep its shape and stop it from spreading out. After the string is off, cook the steak well on its edges too. Once the edges are a bit done, you can put the stove on low heat and cook both sides for 3-4 minutes before you need to do anything else.add garlic clove
  5. Slice and Serve: After the few minutes pass, it’s time to take the steak off the stove and slice it the way you want to. Once you’re satisfied with the presentation, it’s time to serve while the steak is hot!perfect beef steak

Notes

Turning Your Steak Into A Bigger (And Better) Meal

  • The recipe I shared with you today is just for some good ol’ beef steak at home. But, it doesn’t really include anything more than that. I know a lot of people are like me in the sense that they love eating side dishes or sauces with their steak.
  • So, I have some simple ideas that you might’ve thought about yourself, like mashed potatoes or just some simple French fries. You can also have stuffed potatoes or baked potatoes with the steak too. Honestly when it comes to steak, you really can’t go wrong with potatoes as a side dish.
  • Other than that, other vegetables can make for good options too. There are carrots and broccoli, both of which go great with steak whether you steam them or fry them. Brussel sprouts are also a really nice option if you like the sound (and important taste I guess, in this situation) of those.
  • I also really enjoy having garlic and creamy mushroom as a side for it, because that brings out some extra flavor in this recipe while making it more filling. You could also go simple and try garlic bread as a side dish, because everyone loves garlic bread… right?
  • As for the sauces, HP Sauce is a match made in heaven for steak. But, mushroom sauce, blue cheese dressing, and hot buffalo are really good options for it too. Regardless of which of these you go with, there’s comfort in knowing that you can try all kinds of variety with a steak recipe as juicy and simple as this without having to worry about it going bad.
  • I’m sure you’re going to love whatever decision to make, or even if you decide to eat it plain as it is!
