I often receive requests from people wanting to link to my website, or use the material I provide. Here are the FAQs, if you have a question, or something isn't covered, then please contact me for information.

"May I reprint all or part of an article or file on my website, or may I link to an article from Miss Vickie's Pressure Cooker web site?"

    No, I do not give permission to reprint any content on other web sites, however, you may quote 1 or 2 defining sentences of an article and then provide a link to the rest of page on my website without any special permission. You may not provide a direct link to pdf files, or any other content where a fee is required for access.

"May I use all or part of an article in a non-commercial report, presentation, or research paper for school, and how do I cite an article I am using?"

    Yes, you may use certain articles on my website for educational purposes, but I require a full citation. Name the source as "Miss Vickie's Guide to Pressure Cookery, an Internet website", include the title and the URL of the article. Please contact me with your request and the URL for the content page you want to use and I will evaluate it a case by case basis.

"Do you invite contributions to your site?"

    Yes, I welcome contributions of articles by guest contributors provided that they are relevant to the subject of pressure cooking or related to cooking in general. I do ask that the writing belong to you, that it is original (or reprinted with the permission of the publisher) and include appropriate reference links where necessary. Sorry. but I cannot offer any sort of payment for your contribution, however, I will make sure that you name is featured and include a link to your own website and/or e-mail address if you wish.

    I allow limited use of material in print publications only by permission only and a fee is required if something from missvickie.com forms a substantial part of something you make money from. Information used in your document must acknowledge my web site with the line; "(c) 200n by Miss Vickie's Pressure Cooker web site. Used with permission", and must include the URL, http://missvickie.com.

"May I provide a link on my web site back to Miss Vickie's Pressure Cooker web site?"

    Yes, if you have an Internet presence related to COOKING, FOOD PREPARATION, RECIPES, etc., you may link to my home page; http://missvickie.com. Click here to select and download a graphic icon and html code.

"May I suggest or recommended a link?"

    I enjoy hearing about great sites on the web and passing them on to my users as well. I can't guarantee that your suggestion will be added to the Recommended List, but I do appreciate receiving your suggestions.

"I have a web site and would like to know if you be interested in exchanging links or banners?"

    Sorry, but I receive so many requests for exchanges that it would be impracticable to accommodate every offer. As an alternative, I propose a Content Swap. Please contact me with your request and the URL for your web site, and I will evaluate it a case by case basis.

      What Is A Content Swap:
      This means that each webmaster will approve and exchange the content of appropriately related of "guest articles". Content should be no more than 250 words in length including a title and byline, up to 3links back to the respective web site, and a separate link pointing to the corresponding "guest article" on the other site. Each webmaster reformats the "guest article" to match the look of their own web page. Articles shall remain online for a minimal time period of 30 days after which it may be extended or refreshed as agreed to by both webmasters. Click here to see an example of the content I supply.

"I am a vendor, seller, supplier, manufacturer or retailer, can I advertise my business or service on Miss Vickie's Pressure Cooker web site?"
