Doggie Dinner
|
|
Use the basic ratio of 75% carbohydrate
to 25% protein. For example use 3 cups of
the rice/veggie mixture to 1 cup of the
meat/bone mixture, adding enough reserved
broth to mix easily. This mixture
can then be packed in a loaf pan and refrigerated
over night, then sliced in individual servings
and frozen. Or pack into muffin tins
or baggies and freeze.
Home-cooking
for your dog allows flexibility and purity
that you can't find in most commercial brands
of dog food. Some dogs have special
dietary or heath problems that cannot be
solved by commercially prepared foods and
owners must look for alternative foods.
YOU will be in control of the quality of
food your pet receives as well making sure
to provide for adequate nutritional needs.
